As the largest coffee producer in the world, Brazil is home to many well-established commercial estates. So it’s a pleasure to share an extraordinary offering that highlights the incredible efforts of 15 smallholder farmers. The group came together as part of a pilot project designed to help local growers improve their cup quality. They partnered with technicians and agronomists to adopt a rigorous, scientific approach to coffee production, while still respecting the traditions of the region. After studying crop management, tool usage and environmental best practices, the farmers produced this sweet cocoa-caramel coffee—a delicious testament to their shared dedication.
